Vision at WTC/ISS2000 - Delivering the Future of Telecommunications
Access
As a Gold Sponsor, Fujitsu is taking an active role at the WTC/ISS2000
event - being held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham
from 7-12 May. As part of a cross-section of activities, the company
is hosting a technical visit to Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe
Ltd in Birmingham - the European Headquarters of Fujitsu's European
telecoms business. Focusing on access strategies for future generation
networks and services, a wide range of state of the art solutions
are being demonstrated, highlighting Fujitsu's expertise and product
innovation for the creation, management, deployment and operation
of advanced services. In addition, Fujitsu is presenting a total
of ten papers at WTC/ISS2000, as well as a number of tutorials during
the Congress (see summary in Note to Editors).

taking place on Wednesday, 10th May and reflects three of the Congress'
principal streams:

In addition to the Fujitsu group companies, Fujitsu's collaboration
with leading universities is represented within the demonstrations,
which has provided the basis for some thought-provoking future solutions
in advanced technologies.
