Fujitsu Announces Low-Cost ADSL Microfilter for UK Market

Self-Install FDX100-UK Microfilter for reliable, high quality ADSL performance

Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd, the leading supplier of high performance telecommunications solutions, has launched a new ADSL microfilter - the FDX100-UK - to complement its market leading FDX310 ADSL USB Modem. The new FDX100-UK ADSL Microfilter provides customer premises filtering for G.DMT ADSL services, and has been specifically designed and manufactured for the UK self-install market.

Designed for use wherever conventional telephony equipment is used, the FDX100-UK conveniently incorporates both an RJ-11 style DSL connector and a BS6312 style UK telephone socket, allowing the microfilter to be used where a telephone and ADSL modem share the same extension box. Designed and manufactured for Fujitsu in the United Kingdom, the FDX100-UK has been tested by BT and is compliant with SIN346 v2.2. It is also compatible with normal telephony services in the UK, including Calling Line Identification.

The FDX100-UK complements Fujitsu's FDX310 Self-Install ADSL USB Integrated Modem - this provides a low cost, high performance solution for entry-level ADSL connectivity via a personal computer. The product has received extensive consumer acclaim for its simplicity, quality and reliability.
