Fujitsu Strengthens Intelligent Estate Management Portfolio with new ADAM Agreement
Fujitsu signs new 3 year supply agreement with Adam Communication Systems International
Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd, the leading supplier of
high performance telecommunications solutions, continues to strengthen
its portfolio of Intelligent Estate Management systems, signing
a new three-year contract with Adam Communication Systems International
(ADAM). Under the new agreement, Fujitsu is integrating ADAM's site
management products with its turnkey network management systems
portfolio - FENS-EHS (Event Handling System). This provides a single
solution for cost-efficient remote site management - across all
aspects of building and estate operation, including security, access
control and power.
Commenting for Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd, Shigeyuki
Unagami, Managing Director, said:
"We have a long-standing
relationship with ADAM, selecting its products as representing a
top quality match to our power equipment management requirements.
Over the past four years, we have worked closely with ADAM to achieve
seamless interoperability between its products and our own proven
FENS-EHS platform. Fujitsu's policy of working in partnership with
key suppliers enables us to deliver best of breed solutions at all
times. The success of this approach is reflected in our contract
activity with key service providers, where they are looking for
us to provide a reliable and cost-effective turnkey remote site
management platform."
Commenting for ADAM, Stephen Dillon, Managing Director, said:
"We
are delighted to renew our agreement with Fujitsu and look forward
to building on the platform of successful installations we have
established with them in the UK over the past four years. FENS EHS
and the ADAM range of site management systems are an ideal fit.
Together, they represent a total integrated solution for estates
management operators offering increased operational integrity and
reduced costs".
Fujitsu's FENS-EHS solution provides a powerful centralised control
resource, integrating security and power management operations via
intelligent data communications capabilities. It helps remove the
need for on-site maintenance, automating a wide range of management
functions for remote equipment operation. For example, maintenance
routines can be performed remotely, together with the management
of power alarms, air conditioning, sensors and multi-purpose control
lines. Users can access the full range of power and remote operational
management tools via a simple to use Graphical User Interface.
